New Challenge at Bizzy Becs

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all ready for a brand new challenge?

Here at Bizzy Becs we are and we want you to join in the fun. Our lovely Debra has chosen the theme this month and Debra would like to see , All white except the image and you must have hearts somewhere on your card, of course it is the month of Love, being February.

For my card I have used an adorable stamp from Whimsy Stamps Jumbo Love which is available at Bizzy Becs Online Store.

This cute couple come with the sentiment and bows as a set, so it's an extra great value red rubber stamp set. I have used my grey copic's  to colour the image , He is in the cool and neutral greys and She is in the warm greys, I havn't coloured anything just grey before , but I was pleased how this cute couple turned out.

On the inside I have just wrote a little verse and added some more hearts to match the front. 

The hearts are part of a alphabet set from cuttlebug, and I have embossed them to with cuttlebug swiss dots and craft concepts budding vine embossing folders as per the front. I have distressed around everything with Pumice Stone Distress inks , just for a little more dimension.

Dinosaur Birthday

Hi Everyone,
Hope you all are well and happy today, I have just finished a card for my great nephews 5th birthday, and I am a little over excited about it as it’s the first time I have coloured an image with just pencils, now I know it’s not perfect but I think I am getting there. Normally I would use a combination of copic markers and prisma pencils, but today it’s just the prisma pencils ( I will list the colours I used at the end of this post ).

Isn’t he the cutest dinosaur you have ever seen! I got him from Whimsy stamps and he is called Thunder Lizzy by Crissy Armstrong you can get him HERE. For the DP I used Nit Wit Collections Jungle Zoo Too, I thought those leaves looked like a place a dinosaur would be, but then again I am no expert on dinosaurs lol.
Crissy has a challenge on at the moment with the theme K.I.S.S which means Keep It Simple Stamper and I thought this card suited that for a little boy who loves dinosaurs.
I have done the inside to match the front, the brads are from Kaisercraft and the ribbon is from my stash.
Here is a close up, I sponged around the image with Memento Summer Sky.
Prisma Pencils used – Crimson Red, Black, True Blue, Pink Rose, Sienna Brown, Grass Green, Burnt Orche, Peach Beige, Apple Green.

Before I go I just wanted to mention Dana’s Blog, I have been following Dana for awhile now and she has lots of great info and tutorials on colouring with pencils and copics. You can check her blog HERE , if it wasn’t for Dana’s tutorials I would probably still be in a muddle with my colours lol.
