Sweet Get Well

Hello Everyone,

I am back today with a card for the current Lawnscaping Challenge #126  the girls have asked to use something Sweet! I never seem to have any get well cards when I need them so I used this theme for my card.
This really cute stamp set from LF Treat Yourself was a perfect choice for my card, I coloured the tubs of ice cream with copic markers in three different flavours chocolate, strawberry and vanilla and fussy cut out the tubs. I added some wink of stella clear to the bands on the tubs and the spoon, I cut out a white panel with the journaling die, I stamped the little hearts from the same stamp set with Lawn Fawn inks. Last but not least used some of the LF perfectly plaid paper for the background.

The snow flakes are pigment ink and clear embossed ( the photo doesn't do it justice) and tiny clear rhinestones for the centers. The scalloped top border is also LF paper and dies , along with LF Stitched hillside borders.

Lawn Fawn Elegance

Hello Everyone,

Today I have created a card for the Lawnscaping Challenge No 115 Sentiments , I knew straight away what I would like to make and it came together really well.
I started with LF Scripty Sayings , stamped with versamark ink and used Wow metallic platinum super fine embossing powder, beautiful colour! Then sponged spun sugar distress ink all around the edge of the background. I then stamped lots of the cute flowers from LF Penelope's Blossoms in two of the corners using LF and Hero Arts inks, some of the stamping is in 2nd generation stamping as I wanted to keep the soft and pretty look and was really happy how it turned out, the dots at the edge is washi tape, and I also used a gold gel pen to add some little gold dots beyond the flowers.
Just another pic to show you the lovely embossing, I am really impressed with the Wow embossing powders, very smooth and great results!
So grab your sentiments and get crafty in the Lawnscaping Challenge No 115 Sentiments

Thanks for being my friend

Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all well and happy, I am running a little late with this post, but life has been hectic.

I just had to create a card with the wonderful critters from Lawn Fawn stamps....

I have used LF Critters at the dog park and coloured my images with copic markers and die cut with the coordinating dies, for the fire hydrant I stamped it on some red card stock and fussy cut it out, the
little bird is from the Year Four stamp & die set, the sun and clouds are from the Hello Sunshine set and in this case I only used the dies, I also used the grassy border & stitched hillside borders, all the papers used on the card are also from Lawn Fawns awesome products.
This is the inside of my creation, I have used LF Mermaid ink to stamp my paw prints, I purchased a couple of the LF inks to try and I must say I love, love, love them and can't wait to get more of the colours ( plus the 5 new colours that have just come out ) .

Easter Bunny!

Hello Everyone,

Well I actually got a card finished today, YAY, I have been very disorganized lately, but determined to get back on track. About 2 weeks ago I placed my first order directly with Lawn Fawn, and just wanted to say the service is outstanding!!! it was shipped quickly, it arrived quickly and included some gifts and a thank you note, Well done Lawn Fawn.

Ok, I do have a card to show you today
For my card I have used the gorgeous new Eggstra Special Easter from Lawn Fawn this stamp & die set is so much fun! and I teamed it up with the Lets Polka petite paper pad, I coloured the images with copic markers and used distress ink tumbled glass and faded jeans for the background, then cut the Lawn Fawn grass border and stamped the sentiment in memento rich cocoa and 2 doodlebug sprinkles from the spring assortment to finish off. The spotty egg is paper from the snow day paper pad, just die cut and inked the edges.
This is the inside. I have made this card for my Daughter for Easter.
These are the copic markers I used.

It's Raining Cupcakes!

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all having a good crafty week, today I have a card for the
Lawnscaping Challenge #100 Birthday Celebration and the DT are really partying with invited guests, so check it out!

So I thought my card fitted both of these great challenges. I started with copic blending card for my base, as I wanted to create my own background with these cute cupcakes from Lawn Fawn Birthday Tags, all coloured with copic's and the icing has clear Wink of Stella glitter pen. The fishtail dotted tag is from Avery Elle and sponged with distress ink after I masked off the edges with micro pore tape. I stamped and coloured the little bird, then die cut it with the coordinating die and cut out three balloons all from the Hello Sunshine stamp & dies from Lawn Fawn. I coloured the balloons with copics and added wink of stella to those as well, I have hand drawn the balloon strings and stamped the wire for the bird to sit on. The piece of patterned paper is from my stash, The sentiments are also from birthday tags and stamped with versafine onyx black ink. I added some little sprinkles from doodlebug, these are gorgeous!
Here is the inside of my card, just to tie in with the front, I also added a piece of white card stock to the other inside piece as the colouring did bleed through from the front.
These are the copic markers I used
Now I had a blast making this card and you still have heaps of time to enter both these great challenges.

Thanks so much for visiting me today.

Baby Boy

Hello Everyone,
Well I have been MIA for the past couple of weeks, as I have had my dear Mum staying with me, but today I am back at my desk and just in time for a brand new challenge at
I have created a baby card as I have 2 nieces expecting babies at the moment so I am trying to be prepared and today I thought I would do a baby boy card.
The Lawnscaping Challenge #99 asked for Clean & Simple . I used Lawn Fawn Hello Baby Stamp set. The card design is one I have seen on you tube & blogs recently, using little windows and I love how it came together. All the colouring is done with copic markers C 4,2,0 V 01,0000 BG01,000,0000 and G20 all very soft colours, and the little hearts are stamped with Memento Summer Sky ink. The circle were cut out using spellbinders standard circles and my front panel is lifted up with foam squares for a little dimension.
The inside is stamped with simon says stamp Happy stamp set, I created a pale blue card base for my card and also a matching envelope.
I love how these simple little details finish off the project and make it that little bit extra special.

So thanks for visiting me, and jump over to the Lawnscaping Challenge # 99 with your Clean & Simple project, and be in the running for a fantastic Store Credit from Ellen Hutson.
Have a wonderful crafty day.

Critters in a Snow Storm

Hi There,
Oh my goodness, I have a shaker card today and have you ever put a little toooooo many shaky things in your shaker cards? Well just have a look at this one.....
I think a blizzard is happening he he he. Well the Lawnscaping Challenge blog #97 has this winter theme board to follow, with a great gift certificate from Ellen Hutson.

For my card I have used Lawn Fawn Into the Woods Stamp & Die Set, Stitched hillside borders, the snowflakes from Winter Penguin, Stitched Rectangles from Simon Says Stamp, and the tree die is from Memory Box I just cut some of the leaves off to make it look more like winter. I used distress inks in tumbled glass, broken china and peacock feathers for the background, and copic's to colour my critters Fox - YR 21,23,24,27 W00,1 Squirrel E30,34,37,W3 , 1 00 and the Deer E30,31,33,55,57.
I added some Frosted Lace stickles on the hills, tree, and snowflakes, although you probably can't see that at all. The little shaky flakes are from my Daughter's craft stash, shhh she doesn't know yet, I am not sure where she got them. A little touch of white ribbon and simple sentiment along the bottom and that finished off my card.

I hope you all have a wonderful day, thanks for visiting me.
