CAS Card

Hi Everyone,

Today I have a card to show you and this card practically had a mind of it's own lol! I started with my CC Designs Swiss Pixie and coloured her with copic markers and prisma pencils, then I thought she seemed just floating there on the paper. So I grabbed some X press it masking paper and created a mask for her and stamped the CC designs bench seat, added some more copic's for the seat and grass and sponged in some clouds for the sky. I added some clear wink of stella pen for her wings, pink glitter pen for the cupcakes and glossy accents for the cherry on top.

I cut her out with a stitched rectangle frame die, and also used the larger version for the gingham paper. Added a little ribbon and bow and that finished this sweet card.

Easter Basket

Hi Everyone,

Firstly I would like to say welcome to my new followers, when I first started my blog I didn't think I would have 10 followers let alone over 50, so thanks so much I really appreciate each and every one of you.

Now today I have a little Easter Basket to show you...

and I am going to say sorry about the photo's, I am not a good photographer at the best of times and trying to get good pic's of this was difficult.

The images are from the CC Designs Spring has Sprung set, he is such a cute rabbit , don't you think?

and this is the other side, with these cute eggs that are part of the set.

I found the tutorial on how to make these at Stempeleinmaleins they have lots of great tutorials and hints and a lot are in cms which is great for me.

Moving Along with the Times this week would like to see something with Easter Wishes and PaperPlay would like Spring Colours, also Cute Card Thursday has the classic Anything Goes. I am going to enter my basket into all these challenges.

Needless to say most of the chocolates have already been eaten! So lucky I got the pics when I did hahaha.

Sweet Spring!

Hi Everyone,

 I hope you are all going well, and have been having fun in your craft spaces, I know I have today!

I have been working on a card for the brand new challenge blog Sweet Stamping Pixies and for there very first challenge the theme is Spring, now I know here in Aussie land we are heading into Autumn , but I thought this way I can dream about those lovely Spring days , hehehe

Now these are colours that are a bit different for me, but this very pretty Kaisercraft paper called Tea at Elsie's got me started , and then I just couldn't stop lol. I was very happy with the way it all came together.

Here's a close up of the very sweet Swiss Pixie Leisel and her Wheelbarrow and the Swiss Birdhouse.

I have added Clear Spica pen to her wings ,butterflies and the heart , but you can't see it in the photo , grrrr.

All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge is Anything goes so I am going to enter this little sweetie there also.

This is the inside , the dies are a set from Nellie's called Square Lily.

These dies cut beautifully , I use my cuttlebug that I have had since day one, and they cut like a dream.

If you are anything like me , sometimes I am a little scared of brands I don't know , until I read a few reviews , but I was very impressed with this range. So of course I got a couple more lol.

and you can make a button with this set , that matches your card perfectly! Did you see the little cross over on my button , that's card stock , I got this idea from the lovely Pam Sparks, she makes the most beautiful cards and so helpful , you can visit Pam at her blog HERE.

The images , dies , sentiment , leaves all came from Bizzy Bec's Online Store , the images are older lines and so is my DP, But if you are looking for something just email Bec and if it's a company that she keeps she may be able to help you. Bec is wonderful to deal with , so don't be shy , hehehe

Pixie Sparkle!

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all well and happy today, it's been a beautiful day here and it's starting to feel like Autumn Yay!

For my card today, I have used a LOT of sparkle!

If you know me then you will know that I normally don't add much glittery things, and now I probably know why , you should have been here to see me in the hugest mess , with glue and glitter and sparkles stuck to just about everything except the card ROFL! but I did get there in the end....

This gorgeous image is from All that scraps and is called Swiss Pixie Lucy and I have teamed her with a

 Make it Crafty  toadstool image.

Her wings have had the glitter treatment as well as the white flower. The pearl border is so bright and pretty irl, it's so hard to get a good pic of sparkles.

The butterfly came from the $2 shop and the lovely lace come from my Mum's stash, she was having a clean out and offered me some laces and ribbons, of course I grabbed them up with glee!

The DP is from Nitwit collections called Promises too, and the cardstock is Stampin up Bashful blue.

I don't have the list of copic's and pencils used , it got lost in the glitter mess hehehe.

Swiss Pixie Lucy

Hi Everyone,

Boy oh Boy the time seems to get away from me, in my own defense I have been working more hours so that means less time for crafting, ok I have made my excuses lol, I will get on with it.

I made this card just cause I wanted to no particular reason and it was a real joy to do.

I thought I would have a go at a center step card, the tutorial is on  Splitcoast stampers .

This little sweetie is from the new CC Designs release Swiss Pixie Lucy and she is sitting on the Swiss Woodland Daisy.

 Here is a side view to give you a better idea of the folds.

I also had a go at just a dotty background, I thought it suited her with a softer look, I still can't decide if I like it or not , the jury is still out , lol. You tell me?

Did you notice those pretty corners , they are from Make it Crafty , and are chipboard, very delicate and beautiful. I have painted them with Kaiser olive to match my card.

Cheeky Monkey

Hi Everyone,

Today I have created a card for my great Nephew's 2nd Birthday. 

Moving Along with the Times is having a challenge this week and the lovely Sue is your host, Sue would like to see Cute Critters, and I thought I would use this little Cheeky Monkey from CC Designs, he is actually called Birthday Monkey and I think he is the cutest!

Now the family live a long way away from us, so I don't get to see the little fellow this is going to, but if he is anything like his father was when he was little this should suit him perfectly, his dad was always getting into mischief. 

Here is a snap of the inside, all the sentiments and stars are from a Gina K Designs set called Candles on your cake, I had a few nervous moments when I stamped the stars around the monkey, I thought what if I muck it up now, does anyone else ever feel like that? You want to do it , but a bit scared your going to destroy all your hard work. But in this case it was all good, breathing a sigh of relief.....

Here is a close up of him, notice the cupcake is chocolate, just had to be chocolate ( my favourite ).

Party Time Lucy

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone remember when little girls went to a party they wore Black patent leather shoes with white socks and there very best dress ? 

Well when I saw this image from CC Designs from All That Scraps called Party Time Lucy , this is what it reminded me of, I suppose it still happens a little but times have changed and kids wear all sorts of out fits now. Gee I am starting to sound like I am a hundred lol.

Ok I have used this adorable image and she is off to a Birthday party.

Anything goes at the ATS Challenge  this time around so jump in and have a go , there are always great prizes on offer.

It's a shame you can't see it in the photo , but I used a Sakura clear glaze pen on her shoes to give them the shine of Black patent leather, it looks great irl trust me!

Here is a close up of Lucy, at Copic Oz they have a challenge at the moment involving the brand new release colours for 2012, now they did ask to create something with the closest colours to the new release, 

and as I buy my copics a few at a time, I didn't have ones that were very close on the list, it made me realise just how far I have to go with my collection. The prize is the new 12 set , so what a way to start building those colour families !

Wow where does the time go, sorry I haven't been posting much , the days just get away from me and before I know it the week has gone....

So dear friends I have made a card today and as you can tell by the title it's all about LOVE!!!

It is the love month after all.

I am really enjoying colouring these gorgeous girls from CC Designs lately, I have always loved them, but just lately I turn to them more and more. They are so adorable.

This is a digital stamp and I have layered the sentiment in the heart, and printed the other text to match.

A Christmas Sheep!

Hi Everyone,

Today I have one of those last minute Christmas cards featuring a CC Designs image called Ornament Ewe and I purchased him as a digi image.

Isn't he the cutest thing lol, I love his eyes, they make me smile everytime I look at him. I coloured him with copic's and prisma pencils ( and forgot to write them down , I don't know what I was thinking . I am going to put it down to the silly season, too many things to think about ) The CS is Bazzill Pomegranate , the DP is Memory Box - Mistletoe and I used spellbinder Fleur De Lis Square, sentiment is computer generated.

Here is a close up , I have used frosted lace stickles on his fur and ornament and around the white edge , sorry you can't see it in the photo very well. The little silver and white trim is from my stash.

Cupcake Pixie

Hi Everyone,
Today I have a card that I have an order for, I have used CC Designs Swiss Pixie Cupcake Birgitta and Spring Bench Stamps which I purchased from Bizzy Bec’s Online Store. I have followed the Sketch over at Cute Card Thursday


This card is for a little girl turning 5, I masked the swiss pixie so it looks like she is sitting on the bench, I coloured her with copic’s and have put the long list at the end of this post.
All the supplies were from my stash, the paper was a freebie in a magazine. I have just been waiting for the right card to use it on, I think its very cute. The die is nesties label three. Here is a couple of shots of the inside.

Here is my card for the Bizzy Bec's Online Store Blog Challenge, instructions were Cute & Sweet.

This is really sweet, I think I over did it just a bit, lol . The stamp is CC Designs coloured with copic markers E000, E0000, E37 ,E33 , E42 , E35 , RV23 , RV10 , R20 , R12. The paper is Doodlebug designs - potpourri. I sponged around image with memento angel pink, kaiser rhinestones, miscellaneous flowers and ribbon. Thanks for looking.
