Xmas List

Hi Everyone,

Today I am sharing a card made with lots of lovely Lawn Fawn stamps and dies. I would like to enter the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Anything Goes Showcasing Lawn Fawn Products
I used Winter Penguin, Toboggan Together,Baaah Humbug and Deck the Halls all from Lawn Fawn available from Simon Says Stamp. I love the fact that so many LF stamps and dies all work together. I coloured my images with copic markers.
Here's a close up of this cute little penguin carrying his Xmas List, I used a white gel pen for the dots on his scarf and hat. The snow flakes are pigment ink and clear embossed ( the photo doesn't do it justice) and tiny clear rhinestones for the centers. The scalloped top border is also LF paper and dies , along with LF Stitched hillside borders.

So grab your Lawn Fawn products and Enter the SSS Wednesday Challenge

Thanks for stopping by, and sharing my Passion for Paper Stamps and Ink!

Dog Gone

Hi Everyone,
I have been missing in action the past few weeks, I have been moving house, so huge! I haven't even been thinking about creating until I had everything organized. I am getting back on track now YAY! and have a card to show you today for the
SSS is really celebrating as this week the Wednesday challenge blog is turning 6 years old!!! and they would like us to use SSS exclusive products.
I got out this super cute stamp and die set called You are Pawesome and coloured him up with my warm grey prisma premier pencils ( just for a change from copic markers ) I am really happy with the way he turned out. I used SSS Stitched Rectangles to cut a white piece of cardstock, masked the edge with micropore tape and used the crafters workshop stencil and festive berries and fired brick distress ink to sponge the background. I cut the balloons from the SSS Celebrate dies and the Happy Birthday is from the SSS Birthday Messages which I stamped with versamark ink and used white embossing powder, and heat set, added some little sparkly silver pen for the dots and strings. The little border is from Lawn Fawn Stitched hillside borders, I just wanted to have some ground for the dog to sit on.
I stamped the dog again in grey ink on the inside, and added another sentiment from
Birthday Messages.

Well that's all from me, jump over to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog for the Happy Birthday Challenge, they have some fantastic store vouchers to be won.

Thanks so much for visiting me today, and I really appreciate all your lovely comments, they make my day.

Happy

Hello Everyone,
I hope this finds you all well & happy! I was asked to make a Birthday card for a girl turning 19, well I always seem to stumble a little with the teen cards, does anyone else have this problem? This time I am very happy and I really hope the recipient will be too.
I started with the balloons stencil and distress ink, using evergreen bough very lightly and then some peacock feathers at the bottom and edges, then spun sugar and picked raspberry with the same technique for the other balloon. I stamped the strings & small sentiment in London fog Memento ink.
For the die cut word Happy and my stitched frame, I blended  the distress inks on white cardstock and cut them out. I die cut some little stars and the tails top & bottom from some American crafts silver glitter paper, I then used the other stencil in the set to do some pink diagonal stripes for two of the corners.
They are also featuring Hero Art products, and that's where my inside sentiment is from
I also added a little label on the other side to finish the card off
I almost forgot, I added some clear wink of stellar glitter pen to the word Happy on the front and 19 today words.
Supplies
Simon Says Stamp - Stitched Rectangles, Balloon & Patterns Stencils pack, Happy word die, Celebrate Stamp set & dies.
Distress Inks - Evergreen Bough, Peacock Feathers, Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry.
Lawn Fawn - star dies and stamps.

I hope you like my creation today, and thank you for all the wonderful comments, they truly make my day and boost me along.

Baby Boy

Hello Everyone,
Well I have been MIA for the past couple of weeks, as I have had my dear Mum staying with me, but today I am back at my desk and just in time for a brand new challenge at
I have created a baby card as I have 2 nieces expecting babies at the moment so I am trying to be prepared and today I thought I would do a baby boy card.
The Lawnscaping Challenge #99 asked for Clean & Simple . I used Lawn Fawn Hello Baby Stamp set. The card design is one I have seen on you tube & blogs recently, using little windows and I love how it came together. All the colouring is done with copic markers C 4,2,0 V 01,0000 BG01,000,0000 and G20 all very soft colours, and the little hearts are stamped with Memento Summer Sky ink. The circle were cut out using spellbinders standard circles and my front panel is lifted up with foam squares for a little dimension.
The inside is stamped with simon says stamp Happy stamp set, I created a pale blue card base for my card and also a matching envelope.
I love how these simple little details finish off the project and make it that little bit extra special.

So thanks for visiting me, and jump over to the Lawnscaping Challenge # 99 with your Clean & Simple project, and be in the running for a fantastic Store Credit from Ellen Hutson.
Have a wonderful crafty day.

Critters in a Snow Storm

Hi There,
Oh my goodness, I have a shaker card today and have you ever put a little toooooo many shaky things in your shaker cards? Well just have a look at this one.....
I think a blizzard is happening he he he. Well the Lawnscaping Challenge blog #97 has this winter theme board to follow, with a great gift certificate from Ellen Hutson.

For my card I have used Lawn Fawn Into the Woods Stamp & Die Set, Stitched hillside borders, the snowflakes from Winter Penguin, Stitched Rectangles from Simon Says Stamp, and the tree die is from Memory Box I just cut some of the leaves off to make it look more like winter. I used distress inks in tumbled glass, broken china and peacock feathers for the background, and copic's to colour my critters Fox - YR 21,23,24,27 W00,1 Squirrel E30,34,37,W3 , 1 00 and the Deer E30,31,33,55,57.
I added some Frosted Lace stickles on the hills, tree, and snowflakes, although you probably can't see that at all. The little shaky flakes are from my Daughter's craft stash, shhh she doesn't know yet, I am not sure where she got them. A little touch of white ribbon and simple sentiment along the bottom and that finished off my card.

I hope you all have a wonderful day, thanks for visiting me.

Swirly Snow

Hi Everyone,

Today I have made a pop up gift card holder with matching tag, now I can't take credit for the gift card holder plan, that all goes to the lovely Laura Bassen. Laura has done a tutorial for several different ones at the Simon Says Stamp Blog HERE.
So I gave it a go and here is my project , warning lots of photo's lol.
I attached my tag to the gift card holder
This is inside and your card sits up, when you open it, I used Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles for the cut piece in the middle.
As you can see I didn't actually have a gift card to display, so I stuck my flybuys card in there just so you can see the idea hehehe.
Here is the back of the holder.
Finally the back of the tag.

I created the background with a resist technique, I thought it looked like swirling snow, the  stamp is from impression obsession and white heat embossed, I used chipped sapphire,  faded jeans, dusty concord and tumbled glass distress inks blended together. Then I took my white perfect pearls in a little water and dropped onto the background.
The stamped images are from Lawn Fawn Snow Day  / Into the Woods / Sweet Christmas, coloured with copic markers and prisma pencils, also a red gel glitter pen for the reindeer nose, trees and heart, and a yellow gel glitter pen for the stars. Plus a signo white pen for highlights. The sentiments are from Just Rite Stamps.

Lawnscaping Challenge #96 is Merry Christmas, you have until the 24th Dec 2014 so get your entry in, for your chance to win a stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

Over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog they have given us
Winter Inspiration

These are beautiful winter images, and I thought my swirly snow background fit the bill.

Thank you for visiting me today, hope you all have a wonderful day.

Season's Tweetings

Hi Everyone,
Today has been very exciting!!! A few weeks ago I placed an order with Simon Says Stamp , now I will just explain, I live in Australia so if I order products from overseas it understandably takes a while to get to me. So when my package arrives it's really jumping up & down time hehehe.
I have been crafting most of the day, well you just have to try all your new things don't you?

I ordered the Lawn Fawn set Season's Tweetings, these little guys are so cute! I coloured with copic markers in BG 02, 01 YG 06,03 R29, 24 YR07. I stamped the branch in Memento Rich Cocoa & the sentiment & notes in Versafine Black onyx, then clear embossed the sentiment.
I cut out the bird and red panel with the new Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles, these are fabulous they have stitching on both sides of the cutting line. I used the Simon Says Stamp Falling Hearts Stencil and white embossing paste to create a background. The trees are from Lawn Fawn Snow Day stamp & die set, I also added a touch of clear Wink of Stella to the trees and pom pom on the birds hat.
The Simon Says Wednesday Challenge has asked for Christmas / Holidays so I would like to enter this card into challenge.

Well I don't know about you but I'm a messy crafter , my desk at the moment looks like an explosion has gone off lol.
Thank you for visiting me, also I would just like to say how much I appreciate all your lovely comments since I have returned to blogging and challenges, it's been fantastic and very encouraging.
Hope you all have a wonderful day.
Whoops I made a mistake the set from Lawn Fawn is called Winter Sparrows not Seasons Tweetings. Sorry if I confused everyone.
