Hi Everyone,

Boy oh Boy the time seems to get away from me, in my own defense I have been working more hours so that means less time for crafting, ok I have made my excuses lol, I will get on with it.

I made this card just cause I wanted to no particular reason and it was a real joy to do.

I thought I would have a go at a center step card, the tutorial is on Splitcoast stampers .

This little sweetie is from the new CC Designs release Swiss Pixie Lucy and she is sitting on the Swiss Woodland Daisy.

Here is a side view to give you a better idea of the folds.

I also had a go at just a dotty background, I thought it suited her with a softer look, I still can't decide if I like it or not , the jury is still out , lol. You tell me?

Did you notice those pretty corners , they are from Make it Crafty , and are chipboard, very delicate and beautiful. I have painted them with Kaiser olive to match my card.

Cheeky Monkey

Hi Everyone,

Today I have created a card for my great Nephew's 2nd Birthday.

Moving Along with the Times is having a challenge this week and the lovely Sue is your host, Sue would like to see Cute Critters, and I thought I would use this little Cheeky Monkey from CC Designs, he is actually called Birthday Monkey and I think he is the cutest!

Now the family live a long way away from us, so I don't get to see the little fellow this is going to, but if he is anything like his father was when he was little this should suit him perfectly, his dad was always getting into mischief.

Here is a snap of the inside, all the sentiments and stars are from a Gina K Designs set called Candles on your cake, I had a few nervous moments when I stamped the stars around the monkey, I thought what if I muck it up now, does anyone else ever feel like that? You want to do it , but a bit scared your going to destroy all your hard work. But in this case it was all good, breathing a sigh of relief.....

Here is a close up of him, notice the cupcake is chocolate, just had to be chocolate ( my favourite ).

Party Time Lucy

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone remember when little girls went to a party they wore Black patent leather shoes with white socks and there very best dress ?

Well when I saw this image from CC Designs from All That Scraps called Party Time Lucy , this is what it reminded me of, I suppose it still happens a little but times have changed and kids wear all sorts of out fits now. Gee I am starting to sound like I am a hundred lol.

Ok I have used this adorable image and she is off to a Birthday party.

Anything goes at the ATS Challenge this time around so jump in and have a go , there are always great prizes on offer.

It's a shame you can't see it in the photo , but I used a Sakura clear glaze pen on her shoes to give them the shine of Black patent leather, it looks great irl trust me!

Here is a close up of Lucy, at Copic Oz they have a challenge at the moment involving the brand new release colours for 2012, now they did ask to create something with the closest colours to the new release,

and as I buy my copics a few at a time, I didn't have ones that were very close on the list, it made me realise just how far I have to go with my collection. The prize is the new 12 set , so what a way to start building those colour families !

New Challenge at Bizzy Becs

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all ready for a brand new challenge?

Here at Bizzy Becs we are and we want you to join in the fun. Our lovely Debra has chosen the theme this month and Debra would like to see , All white except the image and you must have hearts somewhere on your card, of course it is the month of Love, being February.

For my card I have used an adorable stamp from Whimsy Stamps Jumbo Love which is available at Bizzy Becs Online Store.

This cute couple come with the sentiment and bows as a set, so it's an extra great value red rubber stamp set. I have used my grey copic's to colour the image , He is in the cool and neutral greys and She is in the warm greys, I havn't coloured anything just grey before , but I was pleased how this cute couple turned out.

On the inside I have just wrote a little verse and added some more hearts to match the front.

The hearts are part of a alphabet set from cuttlebug, and I have embossed them to with cuttlebug swiss dots and craft concepts budding vine embossing folders as per the front. I have distressed around everything with Pumice Stone Distress inks , just for a little more dimension.

Wow where does the time go, sorry I haven't been posting much , the days just get away from me and before I know it the week has gone....

In The Garden Of Love

Hi Everyone,

I would like to show you all a card I have made, and in the last few days I have been learning a couple of new techniques , and I have included both in this creation.

Firstly I have blended two digital images , the images I have used are CC Designs Birgitta Blowing Hearts isn't she adorable ! and the lovely background is from Make it Crafty and is called Tulip Garden . I followed a tutorial by the owner of Make it Crafty Zoe and you can find it Here .

Next is the grass , I have had a few goes at creating grass , but mine was pretty basic, then I saw a card done by Pops , and OMG it was beautiful.This is the card I am referring to Here

It still amazes me how wonderfully helpful everyone is in our craft world. I didn't see Pops tutorials tab at first and I emailed her to get some advise , well she pointed me in the right direction and was so very nice , it didn't seem to bother her at all, so I would like to say a huge thank you, as I am really pleased with my results, I didn't have all the right colours that Pops used so I looked them up on the copic colour chart and chose the closest colours that I had.

A little bit of vintage

Hi Everyone,

I have a card today for some challenges I would like to enter, it's been a while since I have entered any , my mojo has not been kind to me lol, and this last week the heat has dragged me down a bit , it's been in the high 30's so by the time I finish work I don't feel very creative , just yuk.

But when I saw the photo inspiration at Bunny Zoe's Crafts Challenge I thought how beautiful it was...

The colours are absolutely gorgeous and I thought it had a vintage feel. So I got out my all time fave Tilda with balloon inked her up and put on some music and this is the result.

I have also decided to do a card recipe at the end of the post from now on, then you will be able to skip through it if you want to.

January Challenge at Bizzy Bec's

Hi Everyone,

We have a brand new Challenge at Bizzy Bec's and the theme for January is nice and easy Anything Goes!

I decided to make an easel card this time, I havn't made one for a while and it's nice to change things up a bit.

I have used Teddy Cuddles from the Once upon a time Collection, she is so adorable in her frilly skirt and at only $2.00 for the digi, how great is that!

I teamed her up with BB Digi ticket stubs A Little bit of Everything 3 also available for $2.00.

I cut out my image with Spellbinders ovals and used my brand new Cheery Lynn Die Tropical Flourish and I have added a lace doily . All these are available at Bizzy Bec's Online Store.

Here is the inside, the DP is digi paper, the border die is Magnolia - Old Swedish Lace , the gingham ribbon is from my stash. I sponged a few elements with Memento Rose Bud ink.

Cupcake Anyone?

Hi Everyone,

Today I have a CC Designs card to show you, Swiss Pixie Cupcake Birgitta she is so adorable !

I masked her off and sat her on the CC Designs bench and added some clouds for the background. The DP is from Kaisercraft Sweets collection and the fence is Magnolia Lovely fence die. The sentiment Bizzy Becs Digi Ticket Stubs Birthday 1 , the lace , ribbon and heart brad are all from my stash.

I thought how cute this little girl was too so I put her on the inside she is Birgitta Blowing Hearts. I coloured the images using copic's and prisma pencils.

I hope you all are having a great start to 2012, I am looking forward to a year of creating and maybe taking a little more time just for me. My kids are getting older now and I don't think that they need mum to do everything for them anymore, we will see how that works out ........

Hi Everyone,

Well it's almost time for Santa to come! I hope you are all ready ? Today I would like to share with you a card that I have made for my Mum & Sister.

They have both supported me right from the very beginning when I first made a very simple little card, I started off in papercraft by scrapbooking and I soon found that I had heaps of smaller pieces of paper that I didn't know what to do with ....... So I made a little card , no image just sentiments and they both thought how great it was, I never even knew that there was a whole world out there of Blogging and images and all the wonderful people that will help you along the way. I am so lucky that I looked into this world and have made so many great friends.

I just wanted to let my family know how much it means to me to have there support along this journey, so I have made them this thank you card.

When I saw the Challenge at MDUC this time all of a sudden I knew what I wanted to do. The challenge is a colour combo of Red , Cream and Gold, I don't know about you but sometimes when I see the challenges I struggle to come up with ideas, but not this time.

Here I have used Fleur De Lis Square die and gold embossing powder , I think this turned out really well , it looks a bit like old iron work to me.

Hi Everyone,

Today I have one of those last minute Christmas cards featuring a CC Designs image called Ornament Ewe and I purchased him as a digi image.

Isn't he the cutest thing lol, I love his eyes, they make me smile everytime I look at him. I coloured him with copic's and prisma pencils ( and forgot to write them down , I don't know what I was thinking . I am going to put it down to the silly season, too many things to think about ) The CS is Bazzill Pomegranate , the DP is Memory Box - Mistletoe and I used spellbinder Fleur De Lis Square, sentiment is computer generated.

Here is a close up , I have used frosted lace stickles on his fur and ornament and around the white edge , sorry you can't see it in the photo very well. The little silver and white trim is from my stash.

A Baby Girl

Hi Everyone,

Well it has rained here almost all weekend , sooooo what to do? craft of course hehehe. I received my order from LOTV this week and thought I would have a go at the challenge of Pink , White & Silver I have used Special Delivery from there latest release.

As soon as I saw this image I loved it, and the sentiment comes with it, I love it when that happens lol. But then again I loved all the baby images in this release, and they are all on my wish list lol. The silver CS is like a brushed metal , very pretty irl, didn't show up so well in the photo though. The lace , pearls and DP are all from Kaisercraft , the DP is called Bundle of Joy , how appropriate!

The image is cut out with my new die from Nellie Snellen Multi Frames and the Border is from Cheery Lynn Dies which I purchased from Bizzy Bec's Online Store . The scalloped circle is from Spellbinders.

The edges have been inked with Memento Angel Pink, and the little bib is from my stash.

I have done the inside to match the front , and just added "congratulations" .

Hi Everyone,

Just thought I would show you a new stamp I got from Bizzy Bec's it's from S.W.A.L.K and I think these are adorable images and they come with the sentiments so they are great value!

I have coloured using copic's and prisma pencils (list at end of post) I also had a go at some grass and clouds , because they looked like they were sitting in a park to me. All the ovals are petite spellbinders the DP is Basic Grey Wisteria , one of my all time favourites , the lace is Kaisercraft and the flowers are from WOC, the ribbon is from my stash, or I should say Mum's , it's really great when Mum goes through her crafty things ! cause then they get passed down to me Yay!!!

Christmas Challenge at Bizzy Bec's

Hi Everyone,

Well this Challenge couldn't be easier, cause I bet you all have been working flat out on your Chrissy cards., right! Yes the theme for our new challenge is Christmas at Bizzy Bec's store blog , I have created a Christmas scene to share with you.

I have used 2 Magnolia stamps from the Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection Something for you Tilda and Welcome to a Sweet Xmas, I think she looks like she is just arriving to give her gift to someone special.

I have used copic's and prisma pencils as I always do to colour, and I stamped Tilda first then masked her to put the background in, a little extra work but well worth it I think ! What do you think ? The DP is also from Magnolia. The sentiment is computer generated and I cut it out with spellbinder die and used a fancy tag with foam dots. The flowers and corners are from WOC and the ribbon is from the bargin buy shop.

Bec will have more Magnolia stamps in when the new release comes out, so keep your eye's peeled for that because Bec always has them at fantastic prices, but while you are waiting for that release check out

I have added another Tilda on the inside front of my card she is Unwrapped Tilda from the So Jolly / Under the Mistletoe Collection, the die under the ribbon is also from Magnolia and the other die is Fleur De Lis Pendants from spellbinders and labels three to cut out the image.

Hope you are all well and happy. I have a card today and I used the adorable image Whimsy Wee Florist available at Bec's HERE .

I have coloured her with copic's and pencils, the DP is Prima Romantique collection, the sentiment is one of Bec's Digi freebies. The lace die is from Cherry Lynn Designs, the ribbon and slider is also from Bec's online store and the flowers are from WOC, the pearls are Kaisercraft. I just thought I would share her with you she is such a cutie!

Hi Everyone,

Well I know that I posted a card with this image last time and I really should have mixed it up a bit, but I have a very good reason. I have been looking at these sorts of cards all over blog land for a while and finally thought I just had to give it a go. Also I wanted something extra special for my daughter for Christmas and Reindeer Tilda is sooo cute!

I have used copic's & prisma pencils to colour tilda then masked her and sponged around her with Memento Cantaloupe ink, for all the edges I used Brilliance Galaxy Gold ink to go with the gorgeous Kaisercraft DP December 25th and the Snowflake DP is from Pink Petticoat Digi paper. WOC Challenge this week would like to see A Childs Christmas and I have used there gorgeous small gold corners and Autumn Gold roses and the delicate cream lace.

Just Magnolia Challenge wanted to see Ribbons this time around and I have heaps of ribbons on this one inside and out. The sentiment is a freebie from Bizzy Bec online store blog, these are so great I have used them all the time this Christmas.

Here's the inside front with a tag and computer generated note for my Daughter. All over this card I have used a Magnolia doo hickey die for the borders, I adore this little edge it's so sweet.

And here's the other side, where the fun bit comes in , I made the little box for a little gift to go in, I keep thinking either earrings or chocolates ( Brittney loves both ) I used some acetate for the lid and stamped a couple of flourishes in the corners and a cuttlebug die for the ornament shape , but I sort of covered it up with the ribbons.

It's a bit of photo overload today , but I was trying to show you the dimensions of my creation.

I havn't got my list of colours used this time because I had a mini disaster, I actually knocked over a cup of coffee on my craft desk . Luckily I had just moved the card and it only got all the scraps but my colours were on the scraps, also it did end up in the computer keyboard , that's now in the bin and my son had a spare thankfully.

Reindeer Tilda

Hi Everyone,

I have another Christmas card to show you today, and it's not traditional at all! I started off with a vintage feel ,but then added a tiny bit of sparkle with my ribbon and a little silver reindeer charm. So still not sure about this one but here she is....

Reindeer Tilda is from the Merry Little Christmas Collection from Magnolia and I purchased her at Bizzy Bec's Online Store I have coloured her with copic markers and prisma pencils, I didn't have any background image for Tilda to sit on so I had to make up my own, I think it looks like a step that she is sitting on now. I have done a bit of shading around tilda with pencils only , I was trying to get the effect that she was in a room, need more practice with this lol, this room is pretty bare lol. The DP is Kaisercraft Tea at Elsie's pad

The embossing folder is cuttlebug . The border punch and branch are from MS , the gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the reindeer charm is from Bunny Zoe's Craft, where the challenge this month is Anything Christmas with pearls and I have used a couple of pearls to match my colourings.I have used a lot of Distress Ink on this card in Walnut Stain and Weathered Wood I really love the blue in the weathered wood . Tilda is cut out with nesties along with the sentiment tag, and the ribbon is from my stash.

Here's a close up of Tilda, I actually coloured her then found the blue a little too bright so I went over the top with N2 copic to tone it down a bit and found that this technique works really well. I have seen other people do it but this was the first time I had tried it myself. Sorry I am rambling on a bit lol.

Merry Christmas Bling!!!

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all getting your chrissy cards done it's getting so close it's scary! I am back today with another card for Brittney's teacher. If you normally follow me you would have seen the traditional Christmas card I made for the teacher that likes old fashioned things, but today I am in the totally opposite direction with this creation ! the order was for bling and sparkle......

This little sweetheart is from the new Magnolia Collection called Sweet Christmas Dreams - Something for you Tilda and I purchased her from ShopBron . The DP is from Nitwits Collections called Still joyful too, the snowflake circles I have punched out of Jillibean Soup DP Christmas eve chowder, the reindeer charm is from Bunny Zoe Crafts and the silver corner is from WOC. Do you like the snow trim ? Cute I thought.

The cute christmas trees are a cuttlebug die that I have had for ages and the label is Spellbinder fancy labels, the sentiment is computer generated , I also added some Kaisercraft rhinestones for that extra bit of sparkle.

I almost forgot , I used copic's & prisma pencils to colour tilda and I have lost the list I used , sorry about that . Note to self , must get more organized lol

Little Santa

Hi Everyone,

Well today I have my very first card as a Bizzy Bec's DT member, and it's for our November Challenge which is Circles. I have used one of Bec's digital images Little Santa Painting Toys , I must say I am loving digi images at the moment they are so versatile, as in my case today I simply resized the image to fit my project perfectly.

Now as you can see I do have some squares in the background lol, but my circles are right up front. I also used Bec's digi sentiments that are freebie's at Bizzy Bec's Store Blog on the right hand side bar.

I have used spellbinder dies - standard small circles and scallops and Heart Circles, you can get them at Bec's Here.

I have coloured Santa with copic markers ( list will be at end of post ) and used Memento Bamboo leaves ink around the edges while it was still in the die. The Red & White DP is Basic Grey -Wassil and the Green & White is from Nitwit Collections. The ribbon & gold corner are from my stash.

Here's a pic of the inside, that I decorated to match the front. Sorry about the bad colour in the photo , I have no idea why it turned out like this , all the photo's were taken at the same time.

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all well and happy, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the lovely comments you all made on my DT position, I appreciate each & every one.

Today I would like to share a card that my daughter requested for one of her favourite teachers for Christmas. Brittney (my daughter ) asked if it could be a little old fashioned and the first thing I thought of was maggies!

I chose the lovely Holy Tilda from the new Sweet Christmas Dreams collection, she is such a cutie and I do love the hair do. I teamed her with Bo Bunny Father Christmas papers which are stunning IRL. The flowers are from WOC as are the gold corners, the border die is also from Magnolia and the ribbons are from my stash.

Here's a close up of Tilda that I coloured with Copic Markers and Prisma Pencils ( I will put the list at end of post ) I sponged around tilda with Antique Linen Distress Ink for more of an aged look. I also used a gold gel pen for the dots and vine around the Holy , sorry you can't see it in the photo.

I decided to put the sentiment ( computer generated ) on the inside front and leave the other side so Brittney could write her own words.

Brittney has also asked for another Christmas card for a different teacher and the theme of this one is Bling so stay tuned I may be back soon to show you that one he he he ....

Milk Choc & Turkish Delight Christmas

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all well, today I have a gate fold card to show you for the brand new Maggie Lovers Challenge Blog , Bron from Shopbron has started this new challenge for all of us that love our Maggies, now the theme is pink & brown or red & brown and as I said in my last post I would normally use the traditional red & green for chrissy! But that's what challenges are all about isn't it, to challenge yourself, and I did manage to fit in a little red & green, I couldn't help myself lol.

This is For You Tilda from the Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection, isn't she cute! and you can get her at Shopbron I stamped tilda on Cordenons white cardstock, it's beautiful paper it feels like silk and is also available at Shopbron. The DP is from Nitwit Collections and the xmas tree is a clear stamp that I have had for ages. The flowers are from WOC, pearls from Kaisercraft.

For the inside I stamped the xmas tree again and added a little verse from Stamp-it.

I'm sort of heavy with photo's this time , I was trying to pick up the Kindy Glitz - Crystalina ( I hope you can see it ) also how the card opens. I coloured tilda with copic's and prisma pencils, I really like the combination of the two colour mediums together, I seem to be able to get better results when I use both.

Hi Everyone,

Today I have a card for you featuring a Wee Stamp called Christmas Bunny, I purchased from HERE as a digital image.

I really stepped out of my comfort zone for this one! I usually go for the traditional red & green on my Chrissy cards, but decided I needed something different, I also don't use glitter very much normally, but here I am with lots of sparkle and I think I really like it now. What do you think?

Wild Orchid Crafts have a challenge at the moment they would like to see Christmas Fun.

So to create Christmas Fun I used WOC gorgeous silver corners , nit wit collections DP for the gingham paper, cuttlebug embossing folder Snowflakes, Kaisercraft DP Lilac Avenue, the sentiment is a freebie from Bizzy Bec's store blog and the ribbon is from my stash.

This is the inside of the card, the snowflake stamp is from inkadinkado and the verse I can't remember where I got that one from, I think I have had it for a 100 years lol, well maybe not that long hehe . The silver mirror paper has been in my stash for ages too, just waiting for this card I think, and the die is spellbinders heart circles.

I took a few photo's of this one to try to pick up the glitter and shine so you all could see how bright it really is. I also used Clear glaze pen on the sleigh to give it a metal look.

I bet papers were flying in a lot of places around the world yesterday, if you are anything like me and maybe havn't made many cards lately then it was like I just had to make one for the special day lol. Hi Everyone,
Wow it's been a while, life has been getting in the way of crafting lol, it happens sometimes, I do have a card to show you today, as soon as I saw this image I just loved it, it's from Die cuts & Doodles a site that I have only just found, and so glad I did. Suze has digital downloads available and is extremely helpful and every image Suze creates is gorgeous, so jump on over and check it out.

I coloured the image with copic markers and prisma pencils and added some soft clouds using a template from Bev Rochester and used the beautiful Miss Nelly papers from Kaisercraft, the die is Lace from Cherry Lynn Designs and suited the image perfectly I thought. The flowers are from WOC and the gingham ribbon is from The Craft Queen. I created a panel for the inside with the same DP papers but left the rest blank as I want to use this card in the future for a relative that is moving into a new home.

Hi Everyone,
Today I have a Maggie card for you following the great sketch at Cute Card Thursday
I used one of my all time fav’s Sweet Tilda and coloured her with copics and I little bit of prisma pencils. Over at Magnolia Down Under Challenges they want to see texture, so I used this great DP, it’s like quilting, very hard to explain and I hope you can see in the photo, but the paper is sort of raised, any whoo I will stop trying to explain it and just show you the pic, I have had this paper forever and can’t even remember where I got it. I teamed it up with Making Memories Note Worthy.
Everything on this card has had a really good dose of Walnut Stain distress ink, and I love how it gives that vintage feel. Just Magnolia are playing BINGO this week, which is great fun. I chose Ribbon & Lace / Flowers / Gems , the flowers & lace are from WOC and the pearls are from Kaisercraft, the sentiment is from Verve stamps. I also used spellbinder Heart circle die, and did some faux stitching around tilda, this is the first time I have done this, and didn’t do that well at it I am afraid lol.
Lots of room on the inside for a loving message to someone special. I think it’s important to leave plenty of room so the person giving the card can say how they feel.

Dinosaur Birthday

Hi Everyone,
Hope you all are well and happy today, I have just finished a card for my great nephews 5th birthday, and I am a little over excited about it as it’s the first time I have coloured an image with just pencils, now I know it’s not perfect but I think I am getting there. Normally I would use a combination of copic markers and prisma pencils, but today it’s just the prisma pencils ( I will list the colours I used at the end of this post ).

Isn’t he the cutest dinosaur you have ever seen! I got him from Whimsy stamps and he is called Thunder Lizzy by Crissy Armstrong you can get him HERE. For the DP I used Nit Wit Collections Jungle Zoo Too, I thought those leaves looked like a place a dinosaur would be, but then again I am no expert on dinosaurs lol.
Crissy has a challenge on at the moment with the theme K.I.S.S which means Keep It Simple Stamper and I thought this card suited that for a little boy who loves dinosaurs.
I have done the inside to match the front, the brads are from Kaisercraft and the ribbon is from my stash.
Here is a close up, I sponged around the image with Memento Summer Sky.

Crafty Sunday

Hi Everyone,
Well this morning when I got up I had no intention of entering any challenges, but when I had a look around the blog world my brain went into overdrive and that was it! I have spent all my Sunday morning crafting, and what a lovely way to spend a Sunday lol.
I have created a card with a Magnolia stamp called Tilda with Hawaii Flower from the Butterfly Dreams Collection and I must say she is one of my favourites, and she fits perfectly with the MDUC flutterbys Challenge, the girls would like to see butterflies this week.

The lovely girls at Bunny Zoe Crafts Monthly Challenge would like to see Easel Cards and you still have heaps of time to enter this one, while you are there check out the candy on offer and all the new products that are coming in, it’s all very exciting YAY. Ok back to the card, the brown DP is digi from cuddly buddly and the pink DP is from Kaisercraft Blushed collection ( it’s an oldie but a goodie ), the CS is Bazzill.
Tilda is coloured with copics( list at end of post ) , the beautiful flowers are from WOC, I really love those browns ones they are called Walnut colour and I used a MS Branch punch. The borders are done with a Magnolia Doo Hickey die Old Swedish Lace. I used a lace doily from my stash with spellbinders Circle Hearts Die although it got hidden a bit with flowers . The white lace is from the Craft Queen, and I can’t remember where I purchased the butterfly charm.
Here’s the inside, with the very pretty lace butterfly which is also from the Craft Queen.
Just Magnolia would like to see funny sentiments this time, and to be honest I had a bit of trouble with this one, but I came up with this
and turned it into a little tag to go in the butterfly pocket, or you could always take the tag out and put a gift voucher in there instead.

Mum’s Birthday

Gee Whiz it’s been a while since I posted a card, I have been suffering from bronchitis and I have not been at all well, tis the season for flu in the Aussie winter. So on a brighter note I did get a card made for my Mum’s Birthday!

This is the first time I have made a criss cross card and was really happy with the way it turned out. I purchased the image from Cuddly Buddly available HERE and coloured her with copic’s and prisma pencils. The DP is from Nit Wit Collections and the flowers are from WOC.
These are the inside bits, a verse for Mum and I also made a matching bookmark, the stamps used here are from a Popcorn bear set. Ok that’s it for today I am just getting back into things slowly.

Hi Everyone,
This is my second post today, I have been very busy creating a card for Bizzy Bec's Store Blog Challenge for July, Bec and the Team have asked for Borders & Frames for this challenge.

I have used Daisy laying in field she is so lovely, I have made a frame for her with spellbinders label 4. The DP is from Nit Wits Collections called Noah’s too and is digital paper. I punched out the border with fiskars punch. The flowers are from WOC. Ribbon and Butterfly are from my stash. I am sorry but I can’t for the life of me remember where I got the circle sentiment.
Here’s a close up of daisy in her frame, I have coloured her with copic’s and a little prisma pencils, I like using the pencils for a little blush on the cheeks for that nice soft look.
The inside I decorated to match the front with an area for personal messages.

Little Ballerina

Hi Everyone,
Today I have made a card for my sister to give to her 5yr old grand daughter who loves ballet & butterflies, and this Lily of the Valley stamp is just perfect I thought.

She is called Little Ballerina isn’t she adorable, I coloured her using copic’s and added some hot pink kindy glitz for her head gear. I sponged around her with memento angel pink ink while still in the die, the very pretty papers are digital from nit wit collections called butterfly kisses too. LOTV has a challenge this week with the theme Fun & Games I think she certainly looks like she is having both. The die I used on the corners is nellie’s choice and the little ballerina charm both come from Bunny Zoe’s Crafts online store. The lace and pearl trim are from the Craft Queen and the rhinestones are from Kaisercraft, where would we be without those little extra’s.
Here’s a pic of the inside the cute lacy butterfly is also from the Craft Queen, the sentiment is my own creation.

And here’s a close up of the little sweetie, you can’t see her sparkles very well in the photo, but it looks great IRL, trust me lol.

Hi Everyone,
Today I have a card for you with a new stamp of mine, I placed an order with Lily of the Valley stamps and this one is Milly Me and my dog, I think it is cuteness overload!!! What do you think? A Spoon Full of Sugar wants to see Pink & Brown this week and I always love these colours together so I went to work and come up with this…..
I used copic’s & prisma pencils to colour the image, the DP is Kaisercraft Chanteuse Collection which was perfect for this colour combo. The Flowers are from WOC and the sentiment is from Gina K Designs. That pretty edge is a Magnolia doo hickey die and I went a little crazy with Kaisercraft pearls, I just love pearls so much I can’t help myself lol. The die with the sentiment is spellbinders fancy labels, and the ribbon is from my stash.

For the inside I made a little pocket for maybe cash or a gift card, I think gift cards are great then the person can buy what they need. I left plenty of room to write a personal message.
Allsorts Challenge Blog are still having there Free & Easy July Challenges so I thought I would enter this card.

A really quick post today as I have left this card right to the last minute, eek! This is for the Cuddly Buddly Lets Keep Creating Challenge #2
This gorgeous image is from Cuddly Buddly Twinkly Fairies range HERE and it’s called “Hello my Friends”. Nancy has chosen the theme of Lace & Flowers , my lace is from The Craft Queen and the flowers are WOC. The DP that I have used is Cuddly Buddly Digital Paper called Miss Daisy's Spring 2 it’s a range of soft pastels and it’s oh so pretty. I have used copic’s and pencils to colour with a little spica clear glitter pen for her wings and butterfly, and just a bit of sponging in Memento summer sky, the sentiment is from verve stamps.

Hi Everyone,
Before I get started with my card, I just wanted to say a huge hello and thank you to all my new followers, you make it all worth while.
Today I have a Tilda card for you, she is called Tilda in Butterfly Jeans, don’t you just love her hair, so cute! I have coloured her with copics and just a touch of pencils. Unfortunately I don’t have any Magnolia background stamps yet ( did you notice I said YET lol ) soooo I had to create my own background because she looked a little funny sitting there in mid air. The grass was done with copics & pencils and the clouds are sponged in with a great template from Bev Rochester and you can get yours HERE . Totally Tilda Challenge Blog would like to see Distressing this time and that’s just what I did with Antique Linen Distress ink around the image. I followed the sketch by Jane at Just Magnolia & Hanglar Stangler Challenge Blog.
The DP is Prima Botanicals 6x6 pad, and that absolutely gorgeous lace is also from Prima, Cute Card Thursday would like to see Lace this week, and Allsorts Challenge Blog for the month of July it’s Free & Easy theme, with a new challenge and prize each week, how great is that!
The flowers are from WOC and the Butterfly is a spellbinder die, pearls from Kaisercraft.
I have finished off the card inside to match the front with another butterfly and the edge is another touch of Magnolia with a border die. I left the card blank so you could use this one for any occasion.
Last photo, I just wanted to give you a close up of the little sweetie.

Hi Everyone,
I have created a card today for the new challenges at Cuddly Buddly, in challenge #1 Katie has asked for A Brand New …… something, well I am brand new to digital stamps, I don’t know why but they always scared me a little bit ( so silly of me lol ) and now I have started I can’t stop…Yes seriously, they are so quick and easy and Cuddly Buddly has so many gorgeous images to chose from, you can check them out HERE.

Tilda in Boots

Hi Everyone,
Hope you have all had a crafty day like me, I have been very busy with this little Maggie in Rubber Boots. I have really tried to step out of my comfort zone lately and try different colours with Copic’s and was pretty happy with this creation.

For her dress and boots I used G20, G82 & YG93 and the hat has YG 93 & 97, her hair is a combo of E50 & E42 and I added a little dark brown 946 prismacolor pencil for her curls. The skin tones are the usual suspects E0000,000,00 with the exception of R01 for her cheeks. The DP is Kaisercraft English Rose paper pad , I really like this one, gorgeous papers! Flowers from WOC, Sentiment form Gina K Designs and lace is from my stash.
I followed a fab sketch from Bec at Creatalicious Challenges , and you still have plenty of time to enter this one.

A Spoon Full of Sugar wanted to see a get well soon creation, and Simply Magnolia said Anything goes, doesn’t everyone love those two words, couldn’t be any easier.

Hi all,
The title says it all really, I have made this one for my Sister’s Birthday and she just loves gardening, so when I saw this new release at Cuddly Buddly Crafts I just had to have her. She is a digi image and is called Coming up Daisies. Over at the Allsorts Challenge Blog they would like to see Lemon & Lime combo.
The CS is Bazzill and the DP is also from Cuddly Buddly digi paper, the lace is prima and the flowers are from WOC, the little fronds is from my new Marianne designs die (decorative florals ) and the flower garden is a MS Punch, the sentiment is computer generated.
This digi image is called Garden Glimpses on the inside of the card. I coloured the images with copic’s and prisma pencils ( sorry I havn’t got the list ) you see I had already made this card, then seen the challenge and I thought it would be perfect. That will teach me in future to write everything down , just in case lol. I hope my Sister likes her card , she really is my very best friend and always there when I need her.

Hi Everyone,
This morning a have a little tag for you to see, this mini magnolia stamp is Tilda with big ribbon from the you are so special collection.

The DP, lace , ribbons are all from my stash. I havn’t made a tag before so I wasn’t sure how I would go. I was pretty happy with how she turned out. The heart die is from Magnolia and I used the little hearts ( that normally go into the bin ) to frame her. The flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts, the sweetheart blossom in the middle has just a touch of distress ink on it to bring it into the design.

A quick post today, I have been crafting all day and it’s now dinner time ( oh no ) . LOL. My image is a digi image from cuddly buddly in the UK, and I thought it was just adorable.

I created a easel card and used Basic Grey Olivia paper pad , which has been waiting ages for me to do something with it. The heart die is from Magnolia and the sentiment is from Gina K designs. The flowers are from WOC, ribbons , lace and pearls all from my stash.

A Present for You

Hi Everyone,
I have a card today and I really stepped out of my comfort zone, I have been colouring my maggies with pinks and pastels but today this little sweetie is different.

I used copic’s and also just a touch of coloured shimmer pencil to highlight a few areas, need more practice of course but I did like some of the effects this created. The DP is Prima Botanicals and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts the sweetheart blossoms that I used were all white so I just touched the tips with Memento Potters Clay Ink to blend with the rest of my design. I have followed the sketch by Bev for the WOC Challenge.
Just a quick post today, I really must tidy my craft area I can't find anything at the moment lol.

Wow the MDUC host Kylie really put us to the test this week in Challenge #99, a colour combo of Peach, Purple & Cream. Here is what I came up with

Shopbron is sponsoring this weeks challenge with a fabulous prize. I placed my first order with Bron the other day, I got some Copic Blending card. My package arrived really quickly and Bron had added a sheet of cream Cordenons blending card for me to try. I am so glad she did it’s absolutely beautiful, it’s so smooth it feels like silk. Thanks Bron! it’s great when you get little samples so you can try before you buy. I will definitely be getting some in the future. I have used it on this card, and love it lots, hehehe.

Today I have a card that I have an order for, I have used CC Designs Swiss Pixie Cupcake Birgitta and Spring Bench Stamps which I purchased from Bizzy Bec’s Online Store. I have followed the Sketch over at Cute Card Thursday

This card is for a little girl turning 5, I masked the swiss pixie so it looks like she is sitting on the bench, I coloured her with copic’s and have put the long list at the end of this post.

Hi Everyone,
Well have you ever had a day when you just should have “put the copic’s down” that was me yesterday. I only just got Princess Tilda a week ago and I thought that she would be great for the lovely sketch by Donalda over at the Just Magnolia Challenge, so I inked her up with Memento Tuxedo Black and stamped her on to Copic Xpress blending card. That’s when the real fun started after 4 attempts at her dress this is what I finally came up with , lets just say she has seen alot of ink now. LOL
For her dress and shoes I used Bo2,000,0000 and the gloves and petticoat c00 and atyou spica clear, Hair E25,30,50, Skin E0000,000,00 R20 and white Inkssentials opaque pen. I use my Magnolia Doo Hickey die Old Swedish lace and nesties 4 to cut out the image. I sponged with Milled Lavender Distress ink and the gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts which are sponsoring this weeks challenge and have a fabulous prize up for grabs. The DP is from Prima Annalee Collection – Poetry. The pearls are from Kaiser craft. The sentiment is computer generated.
Here is a close up of Tilda, I don’t know if you can see the sparkle in her gloves, but it is very pretty in real life.

Today I have used my favourite colour Pink, the MDUC Girls would like you to use “ Your Favourite Things” in Challenge #96, so I used the colour pink ( I hope that counts ) and I teamed it with American Crafts CS – Brown Sugar, for the sponging that’s Antique Linen – Distress Ink. The Flourishes are a Boss Kut die and Bec at Creatalicious Challenge would like to see “Flourishes” in challenge #22.
The adorable Tilda is one of the new Butterfly Dreams Collection from Magnolia, I got her from Bizzy Bec's online store.

Today I have a card to share with you all, I received my first order from the Magnolia-licious Store I used Secret Tilda and Magnolia Doo Hickey Die Old Swedish Lace, the store has everything imaginable for all your Magnolia cravings, if you havn’t already you must check them out.
The background I created myself ( I didn’t have any DP in the colour that I wanted) I used Kaiser english rose stamp in a random pattern with ranger perfect pearls, I hope you can see it ok in the photo. I followed the sketch by the extremely talented Bev!

This Sketch is for the Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge #23 Mums are Special Sketch the flowers on my card are from WOC including the new sweetheart blossoms in white, they are the cutest little flowers I just love them. Wild Orchid Crafts is in the UK, if you are like me and live in Australia, don’t hesitate to place an order. They have excellent customer service and the shipping is very reasonable.
I coloured Tilda with copic markers G0000, RV0000, BV0000, E0000,000,00,44,42,50, R20, W00. I kept her very pale because I wanted the softer look, just a tip to any new copic users like me, when using the 0000 collection wait a little while between layers, because as they dry the colours become much more prominent.

Hi Everyone,
Today I have a card using the Sketch from Just Magnolia & Hanglar Stanglar Challenge Blog. My Tilda with Balloon was coloured with copic’s after watching the fabulously talented Suzanne Dean video on you tube, if you havn’t seen Suzanne before check her out HERE . I have a very long way to go, but I was pleased with my first attempt at colouring with copic’s to look like Distress Inks.
I hope you can see the sketch in my design, I got a little lost along the way I think, I blame the cards, sometimes they take control LOL.

Well not long now until the Easter Bunny comes so I thought I would make this easel card for my Mum. I used this cute Tilda with eggs in her apron from Magnolia, and some little chicks & sentiment from Crafty Secrets stamps all coloured with Copic’s (scroll down). Hi Everyone,
Today I have created a card for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday #113 which is hosted by Dee and she would like to see Flowers. I thought I would use one of my favourites from Flourishes Clematis and Butterflies this set is gorgeous, I coloured with copic’s, the flowers B91 & B95, the leaves are W1 & YG93 I tried something a little different because I didn’t want a lot of green, I was very happy with the result. I used Pebbles Chalk around the image and butterfly, I havn’t used these very much but I wanted a softer look to match the beautiful DP from Prima – Botanical. Hi Everyone,
Today I have a card for you for the Flourishes The Spring has Sprung Challenge. If you love Flourishes beautiful stamps as much as I do you won’t want to miss this challenge, up for grabs is the entire new release bundle for April.
The requirements are , Use a little robin egg blue, some green grass and a dash of daffodil.

I made the frame for my daffodils after watching a great tutorial by Julie Koerber Here.

I am testing a new program called Windows Live Writer I have been having a bit of trouble getting my photo’s and words to sit just where I want them, so after doing a little research I found this which seems to be more like word, and I am a little more comfortable with this, (I think ) we will see how it goes.

Hi Everyone,
Well today I have Miss Tilda from the Fairytale Collection - Simsalabim Tilda. The DP is from Kaisercraft and is called Magic Happens, I actually used the die cut page for those gorgeous silver flourishes, the plain silver paper is from a $2 shop. The cardstock is Gina K - Ocean Mist and the Embossing folder is from Craft Concepts -Budding vine, I sponged this with Memento - Grape Jelly and I used a Versa cube Turquoise around Tilda and sentiment which was computer generated. The ribbon, buckle and flowers are all from my ever growing stash. The silver & pearl brads were a free gift from Anna's Craft Cupboard online store.

I am trying to give more details to my posts, but it ends up very long, I hope I am not boring you too much.
When I first saw the Magnolia Down Under Challenge #90 I thought "Heavy Metal" I didn't think I could do it. But it just goes to show you, give it a go and you may surprise yourself like I did he he he ......

Hi Everyone,

Today I have some Easter cards I have been working on, I hadn't made Easter cards before and they were a lot of fun to make, the soft pastel colours were lovely to work with. On all these I used Crafty Secrets clear art stamps, very vintage images I think. I also used Prima - Jack & Jill Celebrate 6x6 paper pad. So here we go

Ok here is my card, I coloured with copic markers for Maggies dress I used G20 & G21 ( I forgot to take photo of all the colours used Sorry ), the DP is Prima - Jack & Jill Celebrate, I used the Magnolia doo hickey die - romantic hearts, and the easter eggs I made from nesties ovals and CB EB folders and sponged with memento inks-new sprout, angel pink and summer sky, I simply cut the ovals in half to make them look like eggs. The sentiment is computer generated.

Hi all,
Today I have a creation with a stamp that comes from The Greeting Farm, it's the first time I have purchased this company, but I can tell already they are going to be a favourite, this little lady comes from a set Miss Anya Hats Off when I first saw this set I knew it would be perfect for my teenage daughters birthday card.
I would like to enter her in Bizzy Bec's Creatalicious Challenge #20 the requirements are Two Tones, this is my second entry in this challenge, so here she is.....

I used Bazzill Bling Cardstock, Kaiser Rhinestones, Wild Orchid Crafts & Kaiser flowers, Boss Kut Flourish die, Magnolia romantic hearts border die, Impression Obsession background stamp - Wispy. I sponged around image with Memento Lu Lu Lavender and the heart ribbon & satin ribbon are from the $2 shop.

Balloon Birthday

Hi all,
I am back to do another challenge. This one is happening now over at Bizzy Becs Online Store Blog the challenge is a Colour Inspiration of Chocolate, Mint, Cream & Raspberry. The prize is some brand new Spellbinders die set floral doily motifs, so join in the fun.
Ok on to my entry, this colour combination is a real challenge! The image is a Magnolia stamp of Tilda with a balloon. I coloured her with copic markers (see below for list ) the cardstock is bazzill and the patterned paper is from collections elements - Baroque. I used Nesties Oval and a MS punch.

The cardstock is a very deep brown, it looks almost black in the photos. I found these colours very challenging, but I am pleased with the final result. I enjoyed every minute of making this card.

Hi all,
It's been quite a while since I have posted anything, but I am back at my craft desk after a rocky start to 2011. So to start with I would like to enter the 7 kids Challenge #16 the theme is Mardi Gras Colours of Purple, Green and Gold. I have used a very cute Magnolia stamp.

The paper is Basic Grey Wisteria, the punch is MS, I did sponge the edges with gold, but unfortunately it hasn't shown up in the photo.

Hi, over at Flourishes Betty Wright is hosting the FTTC #98 Challenge the request is to use pearls.
Pearls are one of my favourite things so I just had to enter, for this card I used the baby bassinette from the beautiful set called Baby Love available at Flourishes. I used copic markers RV000, E50 and W1 to colour the image and craft concepts embossing folder called budding vine and of course pearls.

Hi Everyone,
I have made this card for a friend of mine, no challenges, I just thought I would show you this one.

The stamp is Flourishes Christmas Wreath, I love this stamp and all the elements to colour, I used the Ranger white pen on the pine cones & berries, and a gold gel pen on the bow. The embossing folder is cuttlebug victoria and spellbinder fancy tags. The gold ribbon is from a two dollar shop.

Hi all,
Here is a card I have made for Bizzy Bec's December Challenge http://bizzybecsstore.blogspot.com/2010/12/december-challenge.html theme Christmas. I had ordered CC Designs stamp Sugarplums - Santa Emma and the stump from Bec's online store for my daughter's christmas card so it all worked out perfectly. I have not made an easel card before, but I'm happy with the results, the sentiments are a freebie from Bec's too, aren't they gorgeous!The Patterned Paper is Basic Grey Olivia, not chrissy paper but I thought it was cute being tartan. I used Liquid Applique on her santa hat which gives it a fluffy look. The flowers and leaves are also from Bec's store, they come in off white so I used a copic marker R27 to match my card. The ribbon & rhinestones are from my stash of ever growing crafty stuff. Ok now for the card

Hi all, this card is another one of those " Just wanted to make a card for the fun of it" This is another Popcorn bear stamp, I am still struggling to colour the fur so it looks like fur, but pratice makes perfect so they say. The colours used all started with that large rose in the corner, I was pretty happy with the final effect. I also used my brand new MS Branch punch I have been looking for this one for ages and finally found it at Ellen Hutson, one of the girls on STV told me it was there but always out of stock. It finally came in so I grabbed it while I could. Ok enough rambling on here is my card.

This is really sweet, I think I over did it just a bit, lol . The stamp is CC Designs coloured with copic markers E000, E0000, E37 ,E33 , E42 , E35 , RV23 , RV10 , R20 , R12. Bizzy Becs Creatalicious Challenge #15, the rules for this challenge are all white, you are allowed to colour your image and some sponging, here is my entry.

It's really a challenge to use only white so I went a little crazy with embossing folders, I used Cuttlebug Swiss Dots and one of the new Craft Concepts Folders Budding Vine, I was very impressed with these folders they are available at Bizzy Becs online store at a very reasonable price. I coloured the image with Copic markers E0000, E000, RV32, RV00. I don't know the company that made this image ( it's actually in my miscellaneous box of clear stamps ) I do think it's pretty cute though. Also I sponged with Memento Angel Pink ink. You know sometimes when a thought or idea keeps running around in your head and just won't let go, well this was one of those times to create just for the pleasure of creating.I used Flourishes stamp set Humming Along stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and copic's BV00,BV11,RV00,Y13,G82 & G29 to colour the image, and Nestie Label Five to cut it out. GKD Fanciful Tags for the sentiment. I sponged with Memento Angel Pink and Lu Lu Lavender and Embossed with Cuttlebug Victoria folder. I also used GK Black Onyx Pure Luxury Cardstock.Happy crafting everyone.

I created this card for this week's colour challenge on STV, the instructions were Kraft, two blues and green and you could use white or ivory as your neutral colour. The stamp is from GKD it's called OH BOY! by Tami Mayberry, I used GK PL CS Kraft, In the Navy and layering white. The patterned paper is Kaiser craft Off Shore collection, I used copic markers YG03, YG06, N5 & N2. When you are new to blogging like I am, sometimes it's enough to drive you crazy. I thought I would like a better background hmmm , but when I put it in out went everything else. Nothing lined up, Nothing looked right, soooo after taking it off and fixing everything back to the way it was which by the way was working perfectly fine it's all back to normal. Like the old saying "If it's not broken don't fix it" I have learnt my lesson well. I could have spent the last three hours on Cards. Ok I have had a bit of a rant today next time some nice cards promise.

Masculine Cards

Hi All,

Today I thought I would post a couple of masculine cards because if you are anything like me I tend to struggle abit with the male intended ones. First off we have the old truck, this is from a Gina K Designs set called the Journey, copics used N2,N5,B21,B24,Y00,E57. I was very light with the E57 and used the colourless blender to drag the colour along the rail for the aged look. I sponged Memento Summer Sky for the background and London Fog for the trees. The sentiment is Vivid Inky blue & GK CS In the Navy.

Next up I have the wheel from GK Designs stamp set called Farm Life, coloured with copic again, sorry didn't take notes on the colours when I did this, sponged with Memento Desert Sand & used Nesties label #5 and tags. The twine is from GK . Hope you like them, and I hope they give inspiration for those manly creations.

I am very new to the blogging world, but here goes. I am passionate about card making and paper crafting, and this is what has bought me to this point to create a blog. I will try to share any and all information that I can. My favourite thing at the moment are copic markers and I am trying to build a collection of these.

This image and sentiment is from Flouishes, coloured with copic markers, used Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink for sponging and Gina K Designs Pure Luxury Card Stock Fresh Asparagus. The brads I used were white but I used copic marker RV69 Peony to colour them to match the tulips in the pot.
